Podcaster Joe Rogan blasted what he described as a "push towards communism" among young Americans as he spoke to legendary comedian Yakov Smirnoff, who grew up in the USSR. Smirnoff, a Soviet-born comedian who became popular in the U.S. in the 1980s, described to Rogan how he and his father would secretly listen to Voice of America, a U.S. government-funded international news broadcaster, late at night, knowing that they would get in trouble if anybody knew. He also described how his mother was greatly concerned over what might happen if others found out that they were yearning for America.

The flag is all of us.

The beautiful thing about the United States of America is that no matter who you are, what color your skin is, who you worship, or what your opinions may be, you are free to put in the work and make something of yourself.
Is it easy? For some, maybe it is, because they were born into privilege.
For others, building something greater than themselves will take everything they’ve got.
Life isn’t fair. It never will be.
But I am grateful to live in a country that allows me the freedom to try. To build, to fail, to rise, and to keep going. The freedom to lift my fellow man. The freedom to have a voice. The freedom to make God my number one. That’s why I love this country so much.

One is left to conclude that the objection is often not to the policy itself, but to the person implementing it. Were the identical strategy pursued by a different president, it would likely be praised as pragmatic, balanced, and statesmanlike. Reasonable people may debate tactics, timing, or outcomes. But to criticize strength when it is applied, and diplomacy when it is offered, suggests that the real grievance lies less with the substance of the policy than with the name attached to it. What's weird is i can't find a single post or comment the pope has made about the terrorist Iranian regime...I just wonder why Leo would have comments about Trump waging war but never mentioning Iran’s murdering thousands of its citizens,funding terrorism which has killed thousands of innocents and committed atrocities all over the world including Oct.7th? Medicinska sestra koja radi dvostruku smjenu dok svijet spava. Učitelj koji ulijeva vjeru u sljedeću generaciju. Prosvjednik koji viče jer vjeruje da Amerika može biti bolja. Zavarivač s ožiljcima, ali mirnim rukama. Umjetnik koji našu priču oslikava bojama i pjesmom. Imigrant koji stisnutih, žuljevitih ruku drži svoj san. Obitelj policajca koja kod kuće čeka i moli se da se vrati.
Zastava smo svi mi. Zastava je narod Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Prekrasna stvar u vezi sa Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama jest ta što bez obzira tko si, koje si boje kože, koga štuješ ili kakva su tvoja mišljenja, imaš slobodu primiti se posla i napraviti nešto od sebe.
Je li lako? Za neke možda jest, jer su rođeni u privilegiranom okruženju. Za druge, izgradnja nečega većeg od njih samih zahtijevat će sve što imaju. Život nije pravedan. Nikada neće ni biti. Ali zahvalan sam što živim u zemlji koja mi dopušta slobodu da pokušam. Da gradim, da padnem, da ustanem i da nastavim dalje. Slobodu da podignem svog bližnjeg. Slobodu da imam svoj glas. Slobodu da Bog bude na prvom mjestu. Zato toliko volim ovu zemlju.

Dopustiti da to prođe nagrađuje loše aktere i ostavlja globalnu energiju na milost i nemilost jednom režimu. Trump je okrenuo ploču: blokirajte svaki brod koji pokušava ući ili izaći dok promet ne bude tekao nesmetano, nema više isplata i počnite čistiti mine. Muškarci u ženskim sportovima, bez osobne iskaznice za glasanje i registraciju birača, zaštita ilegalnih imigranata... i popis se nastavlja... Sve su to gubitničke pozicije.
O da, toliko TDS-a posvuda. Primjena vojne pritiska na Iran uz istovremeno otvaranje vrata pregovorima nije slabost; to je poluga. Ozbiljne nacije odavno su shvatile da je diplomacija najučinkovitija kada je podržana vjerodostojnom snagom. Čovjek u Areni.
Preostaje zaključiti da prigovor često nije usmjeren na samu politiku, već na osobu koja je provodi. Da je istu strategiju provodio drugi predsjednik, vjerojatno bi bila hvaljena kao pragmatična, uravnotežena i državnička. Razumni ljudi mogu raspravljati o taktikama, tajmingu ili ishodištima. Ali kritizirati snagu kada se primijeni i diplomaciju kada se ponudi, sugerira da stvarni problem leži manje u suštini politike, a više u imenu koje je uz nju vezano. Svatko ovo treba čuti...
Kad zdrav razum zakatači... Količina TDS-a koja se viđa na mnogim platformama je depresivna. Umjesto da o problemima raspravljaju poput odraslih, mnogi pribjegavaju etiketama poput "Epstein", "zločinac", "6. siječnja" i sličnim pogrdnim nazivima. Trump nije savršen, nitko nije. Ali obračunom s Iranom učinio je nešto što su svi njegovi prethodnici – uključujući i svetog Obamu – bojali se učiniti. Tamna strana ideologije.
Iranci mole Trumpa za pomoć...... Papa Leo osuđuje iranski rat...??? Bio sam veliki pristaša aktualnog Pape i lojalni katolik, ali moram reći da mislim kako je Trump ovdje u pravu. Iranci mole Trumpa za pomoć u rušenju islamskog režima...
Radije bih da je odvojio malo vremena i donio odgovornu izjavu koja bi bila moralno odgovorna i podržavala ljudska prava iranskog naroda (Je li brutalni iranski obračun ubio 32.000 prosvjednika?). "Kad pogledam božansko sunce koje ljudske duše topi u sklad poput nebeskog kovača, pomislim u sebi: 'Kad bi se ljudi voljeli onako kako sunce voli sve nas, svijet bi bio bajka'..." Prosvjednici u Iranu mole američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa da pokrene vojnu akciju kako bi pomogao srušiti islamski režim. "Molimo Boga da (Trump) nešto učini".... "Ne dopustite im da nas ubiju"... "Ne znam puno o pobjedama, ali u jedno sam siguran: suosjećanje je pobjeda ljudskog duha." Istinska vjera nalazi se u suosjećanju.
Ono što je čudno jest da ne mogu pronaći nijednu objavu ili komentar koji je Papa uputio o terorističkom iranskom režimu... Samo se pitam zašto bi Leo imao komentare o tome kako Trump vodi rat, a nikada ne spominje iransko ubijanje tisuća vlastitih građana, financiranje terorizma koje je ubilo tisuće nevinih ljudi i počinjelo zločine diljem svijeta, uključujući 7. listopada? Čini se neobičnim da bi previdio te činjenice i kritizirao američki pokušaj da svijet učini sigurnijim, a da se i ne govori o iranskoj potrazi za nuklearnim materijalom što bi rezultiralo njihovim posjedovanjem nuklearnog oružja. (Prema Međunarodnoj agenciji za atomsku energiju, Iran je od lipnja 2025. imao procijenjenih 440 kilograma (972 funte) urana obogaćenog na 60%. Stručnjaci kažu da je materijal obogaćen na 60% kratak korak do 90% potrebnih za razinu za nuklearno oružje.)
Suočite se s činjenicama – ovaj režim nikada neće odustati od svoje misije ubijanja svakoga tko nije njihove vjere, koju su izvrnuli do bizarnih zaključaka. Ne žele pokoriti samo Izrael i Ameriku, već kršćane i židovske narode diljem svijeta. Jednom zauvijek. Perzijski narod ne želi i dalje biti pod vlašću islamsko-džihadističkog režima. Perzijski narod nije islamski, mnogi od njih su kršćani. Svi "pregovarači" iz Irana pripadaju samom vrhu islamskog režima. Ovaj dvotjedni "prekid vatre" taktika je odugovlačenja. Postoji nekoliko članaka o obavještajnom izvješću da Kina šalje protuzračno oružje preko drugih zemalja kako bi pokušala sakriti tko ga opskrbljuje. Trebalo bi stići u Iran za otprilike 2 tjedna. Iran nikada nije bio ozbiljan u vezi mirovnih pregovora.
Ne volim rat baš kao i svi drugi, ali fanatični iranski režim iznova i iznova pokazuje da nije spreman djelovati racionalno. Trump treba dovršiti posao u Iranu... i vrlo važna poruka: Europa ne može sjediti po strani dok traje iranski rat.
